“Qafqaz İcmalı” Azərbaycan və Ermənistan arasında barışıq prosesi başda olmaqla geniş Qafqaz coğrafiyası və onun xalqları ilə bağlı bir çox mövzular üzərində gedən müzakirələrə müsbət töhfə vermək məqsədiylə yaradılmış “The Caucasus Edition” transmilli akademik platformasının azərbaycandilli versiyasıdır. “Qafqaz İcmalı” azərbaycandilli auditoriya üçün danışılmasına ehtiyac olan mövzular üzərindən müzakirələrin təşkil edilməsini hədəfləyir.
Siyasət nədir?
Siyasət haqqında danışmaq asan və təbii olsa da, siyasət nədir barədə düşünmək olduqca çətindir. Bəzi icmalar, cəmiyyətlər və mədəniyyətlər üçün siyasət varlığın ayrılmaz bir hissəsini ifadə edirsə, digərləri üçün siyasət, onların üstündə duran və onları “boa ilanı kimi boğan” hansısa kabalın strategiya kitabıdır. Siyasət kütləvi toplaşmaları, assambleyaları, referendumları ilə bəzən cəmiyyətin öz taleyi üzərindəki mütləq söz və əməl haqqının birbaşa təsdiqləyicisi, digər hallarda isə xoşbəxtliyə gedən yoldakı nahamarlıq, azadlığa gedən yoldakı sədd kimi özünü kollektiv şüurda büruzə verir. Bəs siyasətin bu münaqişəli anlayışlarının fövqündə saf bir siyasət anlayışı varmı? Yaxud ümumiyyətlə saf bir siyasət mümkündürmü? Siyasət, siyasi və idarəetmə anlayışlarının həqiqi sərhədləri nələrdir və hardan başlayır? Belə bir sərhəd varmı? Bəlkə bizə heç siyasət gərək deyil? "Qafqaz İcmalı" is the Azerbaijani-language version of the transnational academic platform "The Caucasus Edition", which was created with the aim of contributing positively to the reconciliation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, along with discussions on various topics related to the greater Caucasus geography and its peoples. "Qafqaz İcmalı" aims to organize discussions on topics that need to be discussed and are of interest to the Azerbaijani-speaking audience.
What is politics?
While it is relatively easy and organic to speak about politics, it is quite challenging to think about what politics is. For some communities, societies and cultures, politics is an indispensable part of their existence, while for others, politics is the strategy guide of some cabal that presides over them and "strangles them like a boa constrictor". With its mass gatherings, assemblies, and referendums, politics sometimes manifests itself in the collective consciousness as a direct affirmation of the society's absolute right to speak and act on its own destiny and, in other cases, as a bump in the path towards happiness, an obstacle in the path towards freedom. But is there a pure concept of politics beyond these contentious notions of politics? Or is pure politics possible at all? What are the true boundaries of the concepts of politics, political and governance and where do they begin? Is there such a limit? Maybe we don't need politics at all? In order to think about these questions, do we need to go beyond the limits of our political imagination and free ourselves from the inherited notions of politics?
Our conversation will attempt to answer these questions while trying to define the place and role of politics, not for the sake of academic exploitation but for broader everyday happiness.
